What exists today.

Lloyd Commons is not a legal entity yet. No capital is committed. There is nothing to donate to until charitable status exists.

Donations

Can I donate right now?

Not yet. There is no 501(c)(3) to receive a gift, so this project is not accepting any. When that changes, this page becomes the gift page. Until then, the useful things to give are your name and your attention to the dated record.

Today
Letters of support and the institutional engagement both feed directly into our mission.
On formation
Named volunteer roles and coalition coordination, as the nonprofit takes shape.
On 501(c)(3) determination
The gift page opens for founding gifts and donor recognition.
How Participation Expands

How involvement grows over time.

Donor recognition

Bricks, plaques, founding gifts, and named commons spaces — honoring the people whose support makes the acquisition possible.

Opens with the gift page — 501(c)(3) determination

Stewardship participation

Community Assembly membership, board nominations, annual planning input, and participatory budgeting — real governance, real voice, defined powers.

Opens when the Assembly is seated

Community investment

A community-investment vehicle lets residents share in revenue from the Lloyd commons.

Counsel-first — designed, not yet offered; nothing here is an offering

Commercial opportunity

Long-term protected leases, tenant co-ops, and local-business leaseholds — stable economic opportunity inside the commons, with enterprise value kept separate from land value.

Opens with the market hall
Letters Of Support

Add your name to the letter of support.

Letters of support help us show that this community wants the building kept. That starts with you.

Letters are collected as public evidence of support for a civic acquisition of the Lloyd Center site. Your name and affiliation may be shared with institutional partners; your optional line is published only with your further consent.
